What started as a food blog has morphed into more or less a personal journal. My marriage, my parenting, my life journey is as likely to appear now as my kitchen work... but there's more than one way to feed a family.

Actually, mincing, shredding, chopping just about any veg. you can imagine...
No more bleeding knuckles as you shred cheese on the blasted box grater.

chop any vegetables - especially great for making salsa
make mayo
hummus
I don't use it for cheese - I have this idea that the cheese will be too soft. I don't use the shredding attachments so much, just the straight blade.
Tut, tut, Margo! Cheese is certainly not too soft to shred. You get a little ring of smeared cheese inside the rim of the shredding blade but that just means you get to dig it out with your finger and eat it. No problem.
ReplyDeleteI use mine for making pesto and for grating up zucchini to freeze or make bread on the spot. I love mine, and don't know what I'd do without it for those things.
